International Conference on Experimental Social Psychology, Experimental Methods and Ethical Issues
(ICESPEMEI - 25)
2nd - 3rd August 2025 Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid Event)
To ensure a professional and seamless experience for all virtual participants, please carefully follow these guidelines for your SNRI conference video presentations:
1. Platform and Access
All virtual sessions will be hosted on Zoom. Meeting links, IDs, and passwords will be shared with registered virtual presenters well in advance via email.
Please ensure you have the latest version of Zoom installed on your device prior to the conference.
2. Presentation Duration
Your presentation should be between 10 and 12 minutes, followed by 3 to 5 minutes dedicated to questions and answers.
Adherence to the time limit is important to keep the conference schedule on track.
3. Pre-Presentation Preparation
Log in to the Zoom meeting at least 30 minutes before your scheduled time to test your audio, video, and screen sharing capabilities.
Check your internet stability; a wired connection is preferable to minimize disruptions.
Test your microphone, camera, and lighting to ensure clear visibility and audio. Use a quiet, well-lit space for your presentation.
4. Presentation Materials
Have your PowerPoint slides or other visual aids ready and organized for easy sharing.
Share your screen only during your presentation to avoid displaying unintended content.
Virtual presenters may also share supplementary documents or links in the chat if relevant.
5. Presentation Delivery
Use a headset or external microphone for better sound quality and to reduce background noise.
Keep your camera at eye level and maintain a professional appearance and background. Virtual backgrounds are acceptable if they are simple and non-distracting.
Be attentive during Q&A, and respond politely and succinctly.
7. Technical Support
SNRI will provide technical support throughout the virtual sessions. A dedicated help desk will be available to assist with connectivity or platform issues.
Contact details for real-time support will be provided in the pre-conference information email.
8. Recording and Privacy
Sessions may be recorded for archival, documentation, and publication purposes. By participating, you consent to this recording.
Recordings will be shared only with registered attendees or published on authorized SNRI platforms.
9. Contingency Plan
In case of technical difficulties on the presenter’s side, please have a backup plan ready (e.g., submitting your presentation slides in advance or contacting the session chair).
Notify the conference support team immediately if you anticipate connectivity issues.
Following these guidelines will help ensure your virtual presentation is effective and contributes to a successful SNRI conference experience.
